Lodge Chiefs
At the First Annual Lodge Fellowship, held at Camp Thunderbird on August 19-21, 1994, a general election was held for lodge officers. Provisional Lodge Chief, Troy Young, ran against Steve Simms and was elected as the First Lodge Chief of Nisqually Lodge #155. At this Fellowship, members received their first lodge flap.

At the First Annual Lodge Fellowship, held at Camp Thunderbird on August 19-21, 1994, a general election was held for lodge officers. Provisional Lodge Chief, Troy Young, ran against Steve Simms and was elected as the First Lodge Chief of Nisqually Lodge #155. At this Fellowship, members received their first lodge flap.
Troy was elected again in 1996 after elections were held at two ordeals held in May and June 1996 at our two major Scout Camps. On Monday, February 10, 1997, Troy Young resigned as Lodge Chief and Vice Chief and long time Olympia Area Chapter Chief, Kevin Stock, was selected as his replacement. This is how it progressed: First Vice Chief, Matt Carlson, announced his immediate resignation because he is going to join the Navy in June. Squaxin Chapter Chief, Kevin Stock, was chosen by Lodge Chief Troy Young to replace Carlson. The LEC approved Kevin's appointment. At the end of the meeting, Lodge Chief Troy Young, met in private with Lodge Adviser Steve Carlson and Mike Bowen and then returned to the room to announce his resignation effective at the end of the meeting. Kevin Stock, new First Vice Chief, moved into the Lodge Chief position by direct succession. Kevin was re-elected as Lodge Chief in May 1997.
